How I See Myself

As the project nurse and safety officer slash admin officer, I see myself in roles that uphold the welfare of various bodies.

First, I will always protect the interests of my employer. Yet at the same time, I will also uphold the institution that gave a project to my employer. Even so, no matter what and wherever I may be, I will always be a patient's advocate. I am such.

In the context of my current employment, these "patients" are our workers. Whatever is incomplete in my execution as an advocate, that is brought about by how I juggle all three roles the best way I know and could.

Rounds

I've been having a lot of rounds this week, as needed, given what just happened last Sunday. But then, I don't have wards as places to visit. Instead, they're residential units and clusters still being built. I just realized that I used the word "rounds" when I said I'd go on rounds this morning. Feeling nurse lang talaga.

Oh boy, I would love to go to LalaLand right now. But we have to discuss about tomorrow's fire drill. I hope we can just re-sched this.
